Jordan Corner
Lead Guitar
Jordan Corner, lead guitarist, co-composer and writer is from Cayuga, Ontario, Canada. Jordan’s passion for music and eventual intensity for guitar began at an early age under the instruction of his mother, a gifted classical pianist and professor of music. Jordan is a relentless student, inspired by both classical and modern master players including his current mentor, Canadian virtuoso guitarist Kelly Kereliuk of Prismindand Lost Symphony.
Jordan joined Imperfect Purities founder and co-composer Mike Wood, along with lyricist/vocalist Pierre Francois to create a new, powerful modern metal sound. Both Jordan (lead guitar) and Pierre Francois (vocals) are also members of well-known Hamilton metal band, Lady in Black.
Jordan’s approach to writing music gets outside the box, intertwining Progressive, Neoclassical, Djent and Metalcore. His current influences of Periphery, Dream Theatre, Novelists FR, Erra and Veil of Maya can be heard in his writing style.
Pierre Francois
Vocals
After growing up on the white, sandy beaches of Cape Town, South Africa.. Vocalist and front man Pierre Francois moved to Canada in the mid 2000's. Finding Music as an artistic way to tell tales while expressing it all through slamming guitar's and bone crushing drums Pierre would eventually find himself joining Imperfect Purities in late 2020.
Zac Griep
Drummer
Born and raised in Burlington, Ontario, Zac Griep has been drumming since he was 13 years old, and it shows. Zac has some of the tightest footwork we’ve seen during our search for a drummer. His adept understanding of time and his experience as a guitarist makes him an incredible asset to the band creatively. His biggest influences are John Bonham, Danny Carey and Mike Portnoy. As the most recent addition to our lineup, we are very much looking forward to working on our future projects and releases with him. Welcome to the team Zac!
Daniel Bart
Bass Guitar
Born and Raised in Hamilton, Ontario. Daniel started playing guitar the day he put his foot through his fathers acoustic. As a teen Daniel was influenced by bands such as Metallica, Children of Bodom, The Offspring and Nevermore ; amongst others. Most recent influences include Parkway Drive and Architects.
Early 2021 Daniel Found himself assisting Imperfect Purities on music video shoots. In Late 2021 Daniel was asked to join Imperfect Purities as their bass guitarist.
